MY LAST WILL

MY LAST WILL

This is the last will of me Abelard Ramez II, Pilgrim of Ages and Eras.
I hereby appoint my beloved ones to act as the Executors and Trustees of this my Last Will.
Here, then is my legacy.
FIRST, I leave you my trunk of hopes.
Having lived many lives so far this day, I leave to my beloved ones the learnings that I have acquired in each life.
SECOND, I leave you my legacy of fantasy and imagination acquired during my rich childhood.
Let no adult responsibilities kill or hazard the unlimited environments. Without fantasy and imagination, nothing can be delivered to eternity; the only thing left is logics, whose harshness is aimed at seeing what must be seen. In eternity, one bears what the heart produces in imagination and fantasy. The richness of the puerile imagination can lead you to visit fascinating worlds that are available to whoever wants, including the deepest of all: The Universe of the Heart.
THIRD, I leave you my fulfilled anguishes, and my happy dissatisfactions acquired during my adolescence.
Furthermore, I leave you the certainty that pleasures do exist. Be careful though, if you enjoy pleasures in big quantities, they may inebriate and anesthetized your soul. When this happens, you’ll go for more and more, and will end up slave of what should be just pleasure.
I tell you to live and enjoy living. Let no despotic need for satisfaction subdue your soul to the pain of searching for pleasures because they never say, ‘it’s enough’. On the contrary, they always whisper at your years that the next experience will be the last.
It is worthless to stress life with more emotions than life itself can handle. One thinks that has lived, until the day when the heart will desperately ask for the unlived things and will demand the chance to live again with no observance of the day-by-day. Nothing is better than to live one day after another; even the darkest days should be fully lived.
FOURTH, I leave you the following legacy acquired during my productive adult life:
If you are under great thrill, transform it into productive energy.
If you meet destitute people, help them.
If you believe in something, fight for it.
If you are sad, cry.
If you are happy, let others notice it.
If you are angry, do not hide it.
Keep no bitterness in your heart.
Do not fear crises for they are rescuers; it is up to you.
Love eternity where all lessons are processed.
Do not forget that prayer and petition are the most effective ways for someone to succeed.
Do not judge anyone; people can bee good in many different ways.
Respect your heart’s needs.
Seek pleasures that fulfill your spirit and give your body grateful and satisfying sensations but do not exaggerate.
Do not forget that pleasure is not a synonym of happiness.
Do not forget that happiness does not last forever.
Seek joy, do not resist to it when it knocks at your door.
FIFTH, I appoint my friends to be the guardians of my children.
I leave you my children. They are undoubtedly my most important masterpiece.
SIXTH, I leave my children the absolute certainty of my love.
I leave my children the absolute certainty of my love no matter where I may be in this Universe. No matter how deep my sleep or what happens, I shall be you daddy forever. You will always have a father.
SEVENTH, I leave to all of you a unique legacy.
I leave you the hope that somewhere and somehow we will experience the joy of being alive and being what we are. I ask you not to say farewell, I ask to stay even if I must go. I do not revoke any former wishes.
EIGHTH, I shall return only when the way-to-go becomes a way-to-return. The ways always turn back; even when the paths are the same, it is always a brand new way.
I am certain that we shall meet again. This Universe is too big to be ignored and too small for me to get lost from you; love knows the way.
THE FOREGOING INSTRUMENT was written on the 28 of April, 1998, signed, sealed, published and declared by ABELARD RAMEZ II, as and for his Last Will and Testament, in the presence of his beloved ones, friends and others.
